At Judah Christian Community, cultural, ethnic, generational and racial identities are not discarded but celebrated. Our History |
The Lord in His infinite wisdom placed a vision in two pastors of two churches. Pastor Doug Duble of Christian Community Church - East had been given the vision of a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic church that would include all nationalities. Christian Community Church East was a predominately white congregation. At the same time, the Lord was giving the same vision to Pastor Gerald L. Rice of Judah Christian Ministries, a predominately black congregation.
The Lord brought Pastor Duble and Pastor Rice together and it became evident that they had the same vision. The Lord had brought them together to create one ministry out of two churches. This expression of God's love and wisdom is the new Judah Christian Community. |
