HEALTHY COMMUNITY LIFE SERIES
Judah, under the leadership of Pastor Gerald & Evg. Eileen Rice a quarterly healthy community family life series will begin in September. Two of Columbus’ leading doctors will speak on the first healthy family series “The Opioid Crisis, what is it about Really? Saturday, October 13th, 9:30am – 12pm.

MARCH FOR FREEDOM
March for Freedom Columbus is linking arms with A21, a global walk for freedom to be held on Saturday, October 20th at 10am at Life Vineyard Church, 620 Alum Creek Dr. Registration is FREE, but t-shirt orders will help support A21. POWERUP MINISTRIES – HARVEST PARTY
Judah, ALL ages are welcome to have FUN with OUR KIDS! The annual harvest party will be on Sat, Oct 27th from 1pm – 4pm. Items we’re in need of: PARENTS, CANDY, VOLUNTEERS, and YOUR TRUNKS!! Marketing Events and Women Under Construction Upcoming Events
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and on Sat, Oct 27th WUC will be having our Annual Cancer Awareness Brunch at 11am, our speaker will be our Marketing Director and Breast Cancer Survivor Sis. Tawanna Goodine. Sis. Tawanna will not only be talking about breast cancer but also other types of cancer such as prostrate and lung. Come out and learn about the value of screening, early detection, and treatment options available to women and men who are diagnosed with cancer. Please bring your favorite dish to share.
October 14th - Pastor’s Appreciation Day: Being a pastor is one of the most difficult assignment from our Lord. Say an extra special prayer for our pastors not only today or just this month but keep them on your daily pray list. I Timothy 5:17 says “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.” Love and Blessings Pastor Rice and Pastor Duble!
October 21st – Domestic Violence Awareness – 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of some form of physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. 72% of all murder-suicides involved an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these crimes are female. On Sunday, 10/21 wear purple in honor and memory of domestic violence victims and survivors. Pray church, pray!
October 28th – Praise in Pink – Breast Cancer Awareness – In 2018, an estimated 266,120 new cases of invasive breast cancer; 63,960 non- invasive cases; and 2,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer in men are expected to be diagnosed. On Sunday, 10/28, wear something pink to honor those who have and are currently battling this disease and in memory of those who’s battle has ended. Be aware, be healthy, be prayerful!
